Does anyone know of a doctor in the Seattle area that will prescribe natural (plant based) hormone therapy??

Question: I've had the most difficult time trying to find a doctor that will at least consider this option for women in the peri menopause stage. I would at least like to consider the possibilty among other options after speaking with a knowledgable physician in this field. Seattle is such a large city that is open to cutting edge medical avenues that you would think that a doctor that practices this would not be so difficult to find. Anybody with an idea?
Answers: Hi there...I knew you'd get some ugly responses from uninformed people. SORRY FOR THAT!

I see a naturopathic doctor in Houston..people fly in to see him all the time! (www.hotzehwc.com). I, like you was NEVER treated by the first 13 mainstream doctors I saw about my hormone problem. Well, my body stopped making hormones and I needed them but none of the morons would give me any! So I decided to try a naturopathic doc and I have only gotten better and better!

Here's a website and if you scroll down

Here is a list of docs who use natural hormones in your area....

And below even further is a list of of naturopathic docs who belong to an associate....

GOOD LUCK! :) And...NATURAL/bio-identical hormones are SAFE cause they are what your body makes/recognizes...they are not like the chemically altered, synthetic fakes. (doctors don't want you to know this...cause they can't make money off of natural stuff!!!)
Plant based and natural hormones are no better. There is no advantage. Hormones are hormones. You get a false sense of security but you are manipulated anyway. Premarin (pregnant mare's) urine is a natural product after all, has been around for over 60 years.
The so-called natural hormones are still made in labs, end up in 50-gallon drums, and sit around in factories then in stores for months and years, they are no better than those made by the pharma companies.
Well, I don't know of a perticular doctor in your area, but I do know that New Sun offers a couple natural hormone therapy medicine options. You should check out the link below
Doctor's won't prescribe those drugs because they are not safe according to the FDA. Unfortunately sad because the pills and meds come from those plants! There is a company which makes an herbal menopausal supplement and because of these ad rules on here I won't post what it is, but feel free to write me and I can email you the info!
Any naturopath or herbalist should be able to. Wallingford or the International district would be a good start. Get a name or recommendation from google or call around.
