Looking for websites that explain Traditional chinese medicine food practices??
Question: Hi,
I'm looking for sites that explain Traditional Chinese medicine food practices. In specific, I want a website that will say what foods are good for certain problems. (ex. This food is good if you have a damp spleen). thanks.

I have not seen many like that either.
This site http://www.holisticchineseherbs.com has a little bit of that with some recipes as well. Looks like they are adding more too.
Not sure about a website but from experience, as my mother is asian, not only is it the foods but the different teas play a huge part in the healing process. For instance, Oolong tea is good for the digestive system. Green tea is an antioxidant. Ginger, or ginger tea is good for nausea. I suggest looking into the teas as well.
I don't know of any good websites but I've gotten a lot of great info from my acupuncturist about Chinese nutrition. (She actually started to do acupuncture after learning about Chinese nutrition.) You might try contacting a practitioner of acupuncture so see if they can give you some guidance. Good luck and good health!
This is a very good site for general advice on alternative therpies & natural remedies. they also give excellent advice on diet & nutrition for a wide range of ailments.
eg, type in acne & it'll give you a list of results sectioned into categories; one is Articles or factsheets which gives advice on what to eat for this condition (& what not to eat!), another will you advice from chinese medicine perspective, another avurveda etc.
They also have a Q&A section at the end which is very useful.
But if you look on the left, there's a Chinese medicine section, & if you clik on that, on the page, there's a drop dwon section at the top of the page which gives you more related articles on chinese medicine.
