Have you heard of a treatment to restore smell from a person with a Concussion??

Question: Someone I know had a concussion about 3 years ago and because of that loss her sense of smell. I was wondering if you have heard of any Alternative treatments that would be useful.
Answers: Most alternative treatments honestly depend on the placebo effect. If your friend's problem is psychosomatic then hypnotism or even acupuncture might work. If your friend's problem is caused by a physical problem then these methods will not help any more than waving a wand over a broken arm to set it.

If he cannot smell then he generally will have no sense of taste either.
I have been using green clay for 3 years and it is very good...check these sites:

Well..........Uncle Bill once fell of the house one weekend atryin to put up one of them satilaite dishes, course Bill had had him one too many......next thing we knowd he was on the ground and out like a light. We put him in the living room up on Aunt mabell's good couch, she kept a quilt over it, and we couldn't get ole Bill to even crack open a eyelid. We discussed it over a few beers out in the garage and figuired we had better take poor ole Bill down to the county hospital emergeny room. Bout that time Dixie, shes Bill's old bulldog, tore off a fart that you coulda heard down by the sawmill. Apparantly ole Dixie must of been out feedin on raodkill again cause it damn near blinded us. Next thing you know uncle Bill jumped up offa that couch and ran out of the house. Found him a pukin in the flowerbeds, seems the smell had lite his nose up somin pretty fierce. ......don't know it all this helps but hell I'd try anything once.
