Does anyone know any herbal remedies for tobacco withdrawls??
Question: I am a smoker, and i really want to quit. I smoke about a half a pack a day, and i have tried a few times to quit cold turkey and it has never worked for me. Do any of you know any natural or herbal remedies to help me quit? I would really appriciate it.
Answers: My sister taught quit smoking classes for years and I've heard this remedy for so long I can repeat it in my sleep.
Natural Licorice sticks. No, not the candy, the herbs from the health food store. My mother, used them to quit smoking and she's been smoke free for over ten years, I have to think hard about the last time I remember her smoking. But, I do remember that summer when she carried a box of licorice sticks in her pockets, she would chew on them whenever she wanted to smoke. My sister said that the licorice sticks had a little nicotine substance in them, but you'd really have to plow through one of those sticks to fully satisfy your need, if you are trying to quit, its enough to get you over the rough spots. If you hang in there I know you can quit smoking.
My sister received big notice and accolades for her success in helping so many people quit smoking with this natural remedy.
Weed is herbal
There is a tea called 'smoker's tea' that some stores -- usually specialty food shops -- sell. It is supposed to help.
Try Oatstraw (Avena sativa)tea.Good for calming the nerves and taste a little bit like porridge.
