Can I have a glass of wine after removing wisdom teeth??

Question: I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday (all four). Being that Christmas day is Tuesday do you think it would be okay if I had a glass of wine with dinner on christmas?
Answers:
If you can wean yourself from pain medications by then, so you haven't taken anything that day, I think you'd be fine.
Merry Christmas and enjoy your glass of wine!!! As long as you don't vigorously swish your wine around in your mouth (dah, who does?) and as long as you are not on antibiotics or pain relievers, you are free to have a toast with your friends and family!!! Enjoy!
As long as you are not on prescription pain meds, yes.
Absolutely not if you have stitches, or if you are on a preventative antibiotic. If you do not have stitches, are not on a antibiotic, ONE glass of wine would be ok. My father was an oral surgeon so I know all about this kind of thing. Everyone should know that when on antibiotics alcohol kills the medicine, so you risk further infection. When you havae an open sore in your mouth, no alcohol at all. Good luck and have a great Christmas!!
sure i dont see why not .... you dont want to suck.... like a straw or smoking things it suck the blood out of the hole leaving a hole that sometimes might not heal right.... drinking eating you should be fine just take it easy
hell, have a case of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
