Is this true??

Question: Is it true that if you brush your teeth with baking powder your teeth will get whiter?
Answers: It's not baking powder you want to use, its baking soda.
it is an abrasive, so over time, using will reduce any surface discoloration or stains. That's why many commercial toothpastes contain it.
However, because it is abrasive, you do have to weigh the risks of potentially damaging the enamel on your teeth.
um i dont think so. that sound unhealthy.
No, baking powder will not make it whiter... use something a good toothpaste with whitener and brush for ten minutes... I did this for 10 days and my teeth were really white.
do tell me if it is though
I don't know about baking powder, but my family and I use baking soda. The grittiness of it is what cleans your teeth. Weither it makes them whiter or not... I don't know.
Would you believe me if I told you I use Comet cleanser? I started in the Army about forty years ago, in the jungle, it was a germ thingy and I just couldn't quit. I kept it up, the dentist here thought I was nut so, after 27 years. He couldn't believe it, I still do, I'm 68 and still going, my teeth are whiter then you'd believe. Works for me, don't swallow though.
i think so. what s the worst that can happen? try it
baking soda helps. And i just got a sonicare electric toothbrush and i cant believe the difference it makes!! My teeth are whiter after just a couple of weeks and it feels like i just had my teeth professionally cleaned every time i brush!
yes its true....some toothpastes have baking powder in them...though I doubt it would make a huge difference..
