Can you give me tips on hair and teeth with braces??

i usually just wore my hair however i wanted it...i guess i wore it mostly down during that time though.
however, i found that when i had braces i didnt like to accessorize too much...like if i had earrings i wouldnt wear a headband or necklace..
i found that with the braces i prefered my accessories to be very, very simple.

if youre worried about your hair colour and the COLOUR of your braces matching or clashing, just get clear or white on the brackets. other than that, you can have any hair style you want to with braces

Shampoo and Condition your hair and I got braces yesterday and they don't hurt me just don't eat hard food or ice and don't use whitening toothpaste. Follow your orthodontists instructions!

The most important thing is the colors of the bands on your teeth. Never get the clear colored ones because they can stain really easily, like if you eat a popsicle or something. They also get dirty and start to look real nasty after a while. =[

I suggest getting your fav. colors or a combination. My first ones were blue and purple. Right now I have my school colors - blue and orange. Make sure you get colors that you can live with because you might have them for a while.
I'm guessing you mean how to style your hair while you have braces on your teeth... the best idea is just to keep it simple! Although... that basically applies all the time, whether you have braces or not. Do take care of your hair so it's in good shape (shampoo and condition and get regular trims). I would avoid getting any haircut that's about chin-length since it will draw attention to the lower part of your face. If you get a nice hairstyle that's easy to take care of and is flattering, people will notice your hair and not your braces. When my sister had braces, she preferred to wear small earrings and wore contacts instead of glasses (if she wore glasses, giant earrings, AND braces, her whole face was full of metal and wasn't a good look at all!). She also found that she looked better with her hair down, because slicking it straight back was very harsh and again, put focus on her braces.
Make sure to follow your orthodontist's instructions PERFECTLY so you can get those braces off as quickly as possible!
