If you push your teeth back does it really get them streight??
Question: i need to know thz it for my family member she needs to know
Answers: I did this with a tooth when I was around 10 or 11. My dentist showed me where to push on the tooth to get it to grow down instead of out of my gum. I remember doing it everyday and getting a callous on my thumb but it did work eventually.
Not that I know of0_o. your best bet is an orthodontist and braces.
WELL IT DEPENSDS ,,HOW UR PUSHIN UR TEETH I EMAN ARE U GOIN FOR BRACES ,,IF YES DEN IT WILL DEFINETLY,HELP BUT IT WILL TAKE TIME DEPENDING ON DA CONDITION OF THE TOOTH INVOLVED,,GO TO ORTHODONTIST HE WILL TELL U DA DETAILS...
NOT WITH YOUR FINGERS IT WILL NOT WORK, BRACES OR INVISALIGN, SOMETHING THAT IS THERE 24/7 TO TRAIN THE TEETH TO REMAIN IN PLACE.
I know my late father-in-law told me when he was young he had a bad over bite . He started using the ball of his hand to push them back and it worked. Actually, they ended up pushed back a little too far.
If there is adequate room for the tooth or teeth to move into, yes. It's not very controlled, but frequent application of force against a tooth will cause it to move. I've used this technique to help patients correct anterior crossbites using a popsicle stick at home.
