Question: I have this great deal of pain inside my mouth, in the skin, just right above my back lower teeth. its kind of swollen i think and great deal of pain. any idea what it is.

Answers: i did have pain last year in which i had opt for root canal treatment .
the pain is unbearable throbbing pain..disturbing my sleep back then...
in ur case however..do u feel lump at junction of ur neck and lower jaw?any pain?
u might b having pain caused by say ur unerupted third molar(wisdom tooth)
if u r still around 18-24years of age..the tooth maybe erupting..depending on the angulation of the teeth
but if u r older than that..
u might opt for minor oral surgery to remove the pain
still.. there cannot be a definate diagnosis of ur problem without proper examination
so go to ur dentist..
