Does a chemical reaction take place if you mix Baking soda and peroxide? If so, would it be poisinus???

Question: i am trying to whiten my teeth with products at home.
Answers: I have been using a peroxide/soda mix on my teeth for years (hydrogen 3% solution 10volume --bought at any drug store and arm/hammer baking soda)at least once a week.Mix it to a paste consistency and scrub teeth with it, gums will sometimes go white but will return to normal color within 15 mins. To best of my knowledge (and years of doing this) there is no toxic effect (so long as u arent drinking it) , my dentist knows I do this and has not expressed any concern----in fact I get compliments on my white teeth all the time(my dentist included) There may be some long term enamel effects if overdone (un-educated guess). But to this point....I have not suffered any side effects..and the result is FABULOUS !!
Either use baking soda or perioxide, you don't need both. I don't know if there is a poisonous reaction but they give you about the same results. I have used baking soda and found the best results with it.
What did you say is wrong with your sinus ?
i wouldn't try raw peroxide. if u r willing to spend 15 bucks, try going to rite aid or something fora teeth whitener.
