If you have medical insurance can you get...............??
Question: get dental implants in the hospital ,,,,
Answers: it's covered usually under your dental policy, not your medical policy.
they don't do it in the hospital, but in an oral surgeon's office. (my husband had a dental implant last year)
Depends on your dental benefits under your health provider. But I don't believe it's an inpatient procedure.
it would depend on if they are medically necessary, and several other factors
they'll just use a hammer and plyers from engineering department
Depends on your health insurance coverage/policy. Some, even many, health insurance companies will cover dental work including implants if the necessity is due to an accident such as sports injury or automobile wreck. Some types of oral surgery such as impacted wisdom teeth extraction are covered as well. The best way to find out is to call the number on the back of your insurance card.
if you have dental insurance you can but if there is complications of the procedure health insurance will be used only for those problems that affect overall health like bleeding requiring tranfusion or infection from the procedure.inplants can be performed in many dental offices so check around
Your question is vague. Your dental insurance will cover your dental procedures, your medical insurance will cover your stay in a hospital for a dental procedure (but not the procedure itself) if your specific policy allows for it. Pre-authorizations with your dentist, and your doctor's recommendations, or narratives requesting this special allowance, may be all that is necessary. Good luck.
Not under medical insurance. They would not pay for the implants and I doubt they would pay for the hospital stay if it was related to getting dental implants.
In fact, I have not seen any DENTAL insurance that would pay for implants, either.
it depends on your insurance but usually it does cover or maybe it will cover half it.
