Will a dentist ever get mad at you if you have 2-3 cavities??
Question: I am going to the dentist tommorow and I think I have 2 or 3 cavaties. It's wierd beacuse I brush daily and I brush about 3 times a day especially after eating surgary foods. Any help for keeping my teeth cavity free?
Answers: No, they won't get mad at you.
You didn't mention flossing. It's a major cavity deterrent.
When you don't floss, the food just sets inbetween your teeth. It rots there. And it decays two teeth intead of just one. And it's completely preventable.
Also, don't brush too hard. It can cause toothbrush evasion, which feels just like a cavity.
Good luck!

you may be brushing your teeth to much. and no a dentist would never get mad they will just advice you to try some other things to prevent cavities
why would he/she get mad ???? every cavity is money in there pocket !!!!
If you dentist gets mad at you, then you're going to the wrong dentist :(
Look, not everybody is the same. Some people's teeth are just more resistant to cavities, and some people's are less resistant. If you do everything you're supposed to do (and it sounds like you do) and still have cavities, then there's nothing else you *can* do, right? Your dentist should be supportive, not mad.
Ask *him* if there's anything else you can do. And if he gets mad, tell him that's inappropriate behavior for a health professional, and you'll be seeing someone else from now on. Seriously!
No he won't get mad at you. Your cavities are his mortgage payment and /or his car payment. If he offers you a candy bar, say No thank you.
Your dentist should not get mad at you because fixing your teeth is his profession.Brush, floss, use Plax or generic at Wal Mart and use Act anticavity rinse or WM generic.Good luck.
The dentist will probably be pleased to see you, as you will be visiting him a few more times in the near future!
Keeping your teeth cavity free is easier for some than others, as we all have different teeth with different tooth enamal thickness and different places where food can hide. Try chewing sugar-free gum once in a while; it might make a difference.
yeah he will curse you out and throw a watermelon at your head. Then he will call you a limp biscuit
dude, why would a freacken dentist get mad at you. think of it as if you were the dentist who would care if he had no teeth! you just do it for the money.......
a dentist won't get mad. they won't care. it's your teeth and not theirs
No, cause they are making money just for filling in those cavities. My dentist knows I brush my teeth and I think it's quite common to have cavities even if you brush your teeth 2 or more a day.
He won't get mad ,he will love you as you pay is childrens way through university.
Hi,,, why would the dentist get mad sweetie??? He is going to make money off your cavities....
Some people have week enamel on their teeth and even brushing doesnt help.. ask your dentist about this and see about a flouride treatment...
good luck
no dentist will get mad at you they will just charge extra.brush your teeth 2 times a day morning and night if your worried about sugary foods gargle Listerine
Well your dentist will not get upset with you and if they do then you need to see another dentist. Because the more cavities you have the more money he/she makes. You can try to buy a Reach flosser that will help get farther down between your teeth when you floss. Sometimes you can do everything right and still get cavities. So don't worry your doing the right things.
well...ur dentist wont get mad at u. theyll probably give u advice on how to reduce the cavity problem tho.
id suggest using toothpaste if u dont already, and try and cut down on the acidic and sugary foods. always make sure to brush ur teeth before bed. when asleep, u dont get as much saliva in ur mouth, so its harder to fight the plaque so u get more cavities. thats all i can really suggest.
mayb try taking calcium tablets to strengthen ur teeth so that u get less cavities and smaller ones.
Lol, brushing 3 times a day is def. not too much, you should brush at least twice a day and more is better especially after eating sweets so good for you! You didn't mention flossing though, flossing every night is very important in keeping your teeth and gums healthy. Your gums are super important too cause they help keep the teeth in your mouth so make sure you floss every night before bedtime and don't eat or drink anything except water after you brush/floss. Rinsing with some listerine is a good addition too. Keep up the good work and no the dentist won't get mad at you, he or she will just advise you on how to take better care of your teeth and gums.
no, they won't. the only that they can do is at least advise you to take good care of your teeth and what steps it would take to make them healthy. if your teeth have cavity, it is guaranteed they'll put fillings on it after they've been cleaned.
No, but I think you better flossing more because your parents may be MADDER than your dentist when they find out you have 5 cavities, a root canal, and a crown.
It should give him the opportunity to instruct you on proper care of your teeth.
