Why doesn't ICD (intercondylar distance) have nothing to do with teeth occlusal morphology??

Question: Just as we simulate in lab or simply draw a picture with a pencil, different intercondylar distances are supposed to produce different physical movement pathways (loci; locus) and further affect tooth occlusal morphology. But in fact, clinically,it's not. Why? Does anyone know the cause? Thank you!
Answers: I hate commercials (above answer)... LOL

Anyway, my guess is that you don't feel like researching this yourself...... and to be honest, I have no clue.

Try googling it, or open up your textbook!
