Annoying Tooth. Help Me!??
Question: Kay, guys, I've got a week to get rid of this tooth or I am going to have to get it removed by a dentist (which I definitely do not want because its excruciating!). I have a quite loose baby tooth, with an adult tooth overgrowing it. The growing tooth isn't out of line yet but I need to get the baby tooth out quickly! Do you have any methods?
Answers: Just have the dentist pull it out, because if you do it yourself it will hurt more. Hope that helps.
try to loop a piece of dental floss around it. grab both ends and pull. if the tooth is as loose as you say it is it should go flying out of your mouth.
It is important to remove this baby/primary tooth because it can cause your permanent tooth to erupt in the wrong place or position. Try something with grip---maybe a washcloth--and use a twisting and then a pulling motion. If you cannot pull it out yourself, a dentist can use anesthesia (either an injection or a topical---that's the kind they rub on your gums) to help numb the area before they remove it. Best of luck!
