Most adults suffer from bad breath occasionally, although it may affect up to a quarter of adults on a regular basis.

Bad breath is usually brought on by the breakdown of proteins by bacteria somewhere in the mouth. However, there are several other possible causes that affect the airways, oesphagus and stomach that can also lead to bad breath.

Also there can be various causes :
Gum disease
A dry mouth
Infection (throat/tonsil)

There are medication available for treating this too...also your diet and dental hygiene is important too....if necessary visit a dentist for advice.
Bad breath has different sources. Some of the conditions that trigger bad breath include - a dry mouth, thick saliva, excess mucus in the throuat, post nasal drip, a high-protein diet, smoking, alcohol, hormonal changes, medications that cause dry mouth, history of diabetes, special type of diets (e.g. The Atkins diets) and excessive use of old -fashioned products that contain alcohol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.

Dry mouth is the leading cause of bad breath. It causes anaerobic bacteria to multiply. The lack of oxygen creates an environement for odorous bacteria to multiply.

One treatment that I've used and that has been proven effective through the years is the Therabreath anti-bad breath system. I use Therabreath toothpaste, rinse with the oral rinse and use therafloss. They also have a tongue scraper which I use to scrape my tongue with every time I brush. It was invented by Dr. Katz, the world's leading bad breath expert. I have been having trouble with bad breath for years, and this solved my problem! It is all natural and doesn't contain alcohol, saccharin (creates a bitter aftertaste), and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (a harsh detergent that has been related to the incidence of canker sores).

I recommend this product to you with utmost confidence, and believe that you will develop confidence as well, with continued use.
It is link to a gut problem.
