Dentistry?????

Question: I'm a senior at high schoool this year..its my last year..and I took Math, chem 11, chem 12 , bio 12....and I was just wondering do you need physics to become a dentist...no right??
Answers: You do need a year of physics to apply for most dental school, such as (to name a few) Loma Linda University, UCLA, and Columbia University. There also might be a few, very few (like 1-2) questions on the DAT relating to physics that's very general like the first of second law of thermodynamics. If you want to know whether or not you need physics for sure, you should visit the website for the schools you want to apply, because I believe most schools need it, but some do not. You should check out the book I got most of my info from:
Technically no. There are no physics questions on the DAT. However, if I'm not mistaken, it may be required to have some sort of basic physics class in college.

It is a worthwhile to get a good physics education because much of dentistry involves engineering and mechanics.
