What will happen to my daughter's gray tooth??
Question: Her front tooth turned gray this week and she says it hurts. I'm taking her to the dentist on Monday. What do you think they will do? Pull it out or leave it?
Answers: they may pull it out or they would put a cap over it.
He'll pull it,
It's rotted, and beyond repair,.
IF he does try to repair it,
It will be capped.
I had a gray tooth, but that was because it was ready to come out. I will say pull it, unless she had a cavity or soemthing, I don't know beyond that.
def if its infected they will pull it gray teeth are caused from early decay, early detection is great sometimes they can save it, they will leave it if it isnt bad.
Get it yanked out it is going rotten
pull it
I am not sure what they will do, but my guess would be pull it. You could probably look it up online for answers.
Mabye inner decay, meaning, the decay is behind the tooth, hope its a baby tooth
they will probably pull it unless they figure out whats wrong with it!! good luck! Hope she feels better!
sounds like she fell and hit it on something. my younger sister did the same thing.. if its a baby tooth it will fall out and the next will grow in fine.. not sure what they'll do if its permanent
Is it a baby tooth? When I was little I banged a tooth and it turned gray... my dentist let it stay until it fell out on its own. But if she's in a lot of pain they may pull it. Either way, she is going to be fine!
a gray tooth?? is she a zombie?
They will prbably leave it. Dentist's usually try to leave it. Don't just let them pull it without a 2nd opinion. Chicklet front teeth are NOT attractive! Think of your daughter's future!
if it's a permanent tooth, she probably doesn't need to lose the tooth but may need a root canal, in which the nerve inside the tooth is removed. when they do this and pack the tooth with whatever, it will probably regain a more natural color. if it's a baby tooth, they may just pull it or fill the cavity until the permanent tooth comes in.
My daughter chipped one of her front teeth and it turned gray. The dentist says since it is a baby tooth and it isn't hurting her that we should just wait for it to fall out on its own. If your daughters tooth is causing her pain they will examine the tooth and if its a baby tooth then they will probably pull it. If its a permanent tooth I am not sure what they would do.
Pull it definately as it almost certainly sounds rotten.
It sounds as though the root has died for some reason. I would imagine it will be extracted.
I'm thinking they will need to pull it out, but I could be wrong. There is no doubt an infection of some sort, maby a cavity that's had time to worsen. In the mean time if it's hurting her you can give her some pain killer.
A gray tooth usually indicates that the tooth nerves are dead or severely damaged. They may pull the tooth and put in a replacement tooth (e.g. a tooth that is made and placed on a screw like part to replace a tooth). They will also consider if this is a baby or permanent tooth.
it depends on how old she is and if she is young if she will be loosing it soon. if so they may leave it but if it is causing her that much pain they will probably pull it.
I am having the same problem with my daughter she just turned. My mother is our dentist and since your daughter is only three they aren't going to pull it, they are going to give her a root canal and a crown or if the cavity is small enough a filling. If they were to pull her tooth her permanent one would not grow in properly and may not grow in at all. Her baby teeth are there for a reason. The pediatric dentist you see on Monday will let you know exactly what is going on. Dentists don’t start to pull a tooth until they are at least 7
They will pull it out.But don't worry she will be fine.
