What age do you start to pay for the dentist??
Answers: If you're 16-18 (in full time education) you're entitled to free dental treatment. Also, if you're on benefits or have a working tax/child exemption certificate, you also recieve free dental care. Take a look at this link, it explains everything.
is it 18
being british I would assume as soon as you have teeth
As soon as you have your first visit!!!
when you leave full time education.
If you are covered by your parents, you don't pay
If you are covered by your work placement, you get a discount - so you start paying at this time
In Canada, I think the dental coverage for anyone under a parental changes when you reach the age of 21 or get married
When you leave full time education
UK, when you start working but if you get tax credits you get it free.
it maybe 16 or later if you leave school later
when you leave home / your parents don't afford it
In the uk once you are over the age of 18 you have to start paying for your dental treatment, even if your in full time education and over 18 you still have to pay!
