Floss Poll??
Question: I am taking a poll to see how many people have trouble flossing in the teeth in the back of your mouth.
If you do please say yes and if you don't say no.
Thank you everybody in advance.
Answers: No...no problem flossing posterior teeth.

No, but I learned a trick from my dentist that works for flossing and brushing back there. The natural tendency is to open your mouth really wide. Instead, relax your jaw a little bit and you might find it's easier to reach back there.
No trouble here...
And for those that do, the next time you go in for your checkup, ask for a refresher on Oral Hygiene Instruction, or OHI. This should be routinely done at the visit, which includes proper brushing and flossing techniques; and it's included in the fee.

Not particularly–'No,' if you insist. Incisors are closer together, and molars harder to get at, so it's a trade-off.
no
no............
tear off about 16 - 18 inches of floss.. (Glide brand is great...)
wrap it around your middle fingers (tall - man), leave about one inch or a little more between fingers... then..
use your pointer fingers to help ease it thru the contacts.. then shoe-shine each side of tooth, starting at the gum line...
keep trying , it will get easier
Heehee, touchy subject with me :)
No, it's not any trouble to do (flossing), but it's boring, monotonous, and, kinda like making your bed in the morning, when your just gonna get in it at night and mess the covers up again, a real pain in the a55.
I flossed every single day, 2x daily, for over 10 years. Went on vacation for just 2 weeks, during which I didn't floss, and my dentist (who I saw like 2 days after I returned) went on, and on, and on about how bad my oral hygeine was, blah blah bllah, how imporant flossing daily is, (y'all know the speach), and, dam. I was like hey, Doc, uhm, you mean that after 10 years of flossing 2x a day, the 2 week break from flossing made the 10 YEARS pointless?!?! Eight THOUSAND 'flossing sessions' just, don't matter.?
He said ya gotta do it every day.
So, yes, now I am a floss-rebel. Any dentists out there PLEASE invent something!!!
