Can you brush your teeth with bleach??
Question: ive tried the baking soda mixed with salt thing and it works but it doesnt make my teeth completely white, my friend dips her tooth brush in bleach before brushing..is that safe as long as you dont swallow it? ...im going to the dentist in two weeks and im not a smoker or coffie/soda drinker...any tips would really help

dentists do use bleach but it's chemically altered in strength to about 0.1% of its normal strength - they used to alter it to 10% of its normal strength but even this is now considered dangerous.
imagine a honeycomb...thats what your teeth look like at a microscopic level. you're actually just whitening the crisp cup edges of the octagons not the honey bit. however with bleach, youre causing these to slowly disolve and break apart.

no don't ever try it! it's a concentrated alkaline solution which can whitten ofcourse your teeth BUT can also damage your gums and pores of your tongue for long period of use. So think of it.
That is seriously toxic. Do not *ever* put bleach in your mouth, or even near or mouth. It's dangerous. Even if you try to not swallow it, it will end up either being absorbed, or swallowed in small amounts. See your dentist, don't take what your friend does (very stupid) as something you should do.

Yes...but you can also brush with lye or paint thinner. Don't do it. Just feel what it does to your hands. Your mouth is even more sensitive.

Gosh no! That is so toxic, very bad for your teeth and very bad for your gums and tissue. The content of most teeth bleached is mostly Hydrogen peroxide in its altered state and not Bleaching solution. Your friend is insane.
