What makes a dentist appreciate his assistant??
Question: If you were a dentist what would make your assistant an asset? What would make your assistant a terrible employee?
Answers: We value assistants that are competent, hard workers, look ahead, treat the patients well, try to anticipate the dentists needs, punctual, quick, smart, clean and did I mention hard workers?
assistant should know the basics of dentistry, and eager to help and anticipate what the dentist needs. they should be able to know sterilization procedures,
and most of all, have to be friendly and smile, and have a rapport with the patients so they don't get nervous. you want the patients to relax, be comfortable as much as possible, and enjoy being at the dentist so later on they will repeat visit instead of dread going to the dentist.
