If you take antibiotics before extraction do you still need to take them after??
Question: Can infection still set in after tooth extraction even though you have taken them before extraction? if you still need to take another course after extraction then would the infection go away permanently.
Answers:
Usually your dentist will let you know if he/she feels you have to take another course of antibiotics after your extraction. The rule of thumb is to always finish your anitbiotics. If the dentist feels another round is necessary, finish those as well.
you can take them before or after....I suggest after when the procedure is done.
U must ALWAYS take your antibiotics as prescribed, and take them until finished, otherwise the infection can come back
