Have you ever had your team whitened? Would you reccomend it??
Answers: Teeth? No I have not.
No, Its supposed to hurt. Use baking soda instead.
I had my front teeth resurfaced (I think this is different from the whitening procedure though) and it changed my life. I can smile now xox
Nah, my team is white enough. You know.
Lol, but seriously, no I haven't and it kind of scares me. My mom tried it and she said it hurt.
Just brush them a whole lot, and unless they're seriously yellow I think you'll be fine.
My friend has and he would recommend it for sure - but it can be costly - paid over £500 pounds and had to visit the dentist whilst they did a mould of his teeth and then again to get the teeth - which involved putting a gel on and then the mould over the teeth - within a month you could see a noticeable difference. Trouble is he is now obsessed with keeping them white and so he has to pay around £60 per two monthly visits for gel - so if they are in a bad way I suppose it is worth it as he has gained more confidence nowadays, pleased for him.
Is this a trick racist question, or did you mean teeth??
my wife was very self conscious about her dead tooth and the colour of it so she paid a lot of money to have it whitened and it was good for a month, then went back to how it was before the treatment, waste of money!!!
I think we can all assume that you meant to type teeth, not team. I am a dental assistant with 27 years of experience, and yes, I have had my teeth whitened. I used a product called opalesence and custom bleaching trays. I experienced some mild sensitivity to cold, but it only lasted a few days. That was about five years ago, and my teeth are still white. You have probably heard about Zoom! on TV. I do this procedure for patients about twice a month. About half of my patients experience sensitivity during the procedure, but none enough to want the procedure to be stopped. I know of several patients that have had OK results with Crest Whitestrips, but they are somewhat clumsy to use, and only whiten the front six teeth.
You need to keep certain things in mind regarding bleaching: If you have any composite (tooth colored) fillings, porcelain crowns or veneers, these will not bleach. Acidic and/or cold foods will increase any sensitivity you may experience. If you have active decay or gum recession, this can increase sensitivity.
I encourage you to see your dentist, and ask him/her about the best options for you.
Teeth aren't supposed to be pure white.Home whitening kits damage teeth and gums and my dentist isn't keen to whiten them as you don't know what damage the bleach does when you swallow it.Which you do .
