Dental Implants??
Question: I need to have a Dental implant but im very nervous. Has anyone had one? was it painful? did you have general or local anesthetic? please let me know what it was like?

i have not had one, but i have seen them done. my sister in law has also had one and i assisted on her procedure.
she is not a very tough girl, and described the worst pain as being like a bruise.
the procedure she had was a multi-step procedure and she was able to eat normally within a day or 2 after each step.
your implant doctor should be able to explain everything to you in detail.
