I have one more baby tooth left. The roots has resorbed..Should I suck it up and get it pulled??

Question: ...Or try to get it loose by myself? I'm terrified even thinking about a tooth extraction.. not for the pain. Just for the anxiety. If it is possible to loosen it safely myself.. do you have any tips? I have braces, and my orthodontist mentioned that I need to pull it out before my treatment goes any further (no new wires, chains, ect). Thanks.
Answers: Just wiggle it. Use a twisting motion, then a figure 8 pushing motion. That'll stretch the rest of the ligaments so it loosens. If it's too tender try sucking on ice to superchill your mouth.
I always tell my patient's that they can pay me a hundred bucks or they can do it themselves
You didn't mention your age. But you definitely need to get it out so you can get on with the ortho treatment. Make the appointment. In the meantime, keep trying to pull it yourself...
If it is not bothering you I don't see why he wants to pull it. Unless it is in the way of your permanent teeth coming in.
just ask your dentist to be sure as to what you should do.
