I have acid wear on my teeth...too much soday. Can you answer my questions??
Question: I have extremely slight acid wear on my bottom teeth (a little translucent at the top). What will dentists do about these teeth?
I'm asking because I have acid wear on the top teeth as well, but it's a little more prominent in the front two. It's at the bottom a little, and a little on the sides. There's a tiny bit of sensitivity that started yesterday. I'm seeing a dentist next Thursday. Does anyone know what they might do with these teeth? I'm just getting jittery about the dentist and it doesn't help I don't have dental insurance...
Answers: I think they just put veneers over top
(like porcelain siding for your teeth)
I would call a local dental office and ask to talk to a dental assistant maybe they would be helpful - or gie you ideas to try at home. Best of luck.
If it's actually wearing down your teeth and not just discoloring it, then you probably either have to get crowns or veneers. I had the same problem and now have about 7 crowns. There was just no other way.
Good luck!
They are going to put you to sleep and pull out all of your teeth to teach you a lesson about drinking so much soda.
if the dentist does any cosmetic dentistry, it will be quite costly. that is likely what he'll suggest.
get one of those dental discounts plans. around two hundred dollars and it'll save you ton's of money on big stuff like this.
i use dental call, but you have to find out which ones your dentist works with. it's not too late. if you purchase by credit card on the phone, you can probably have it effective immediately.
maybe u should stay away from the soda and they might tell u to use a special tooth paste
