Why do dentists have to inform their paitents that they are going to use mercury in their fillings??

Answers: Many studies have found amalgam's effect on humans to be inconclusive, which I am not comfortable with. I'd strongly advise against receiving them again, there are acceptable synthetic alternatives available.
You must remember however, the dentists are also exposing themselves way more than you are.
