If you get your teeth professionally whitened...!!!??
Question: i have heard there are two professional methods of whitening teeth. there is laser whitening... and wearing some sort of disc / plate over some time. the question i am asking, is... how much do these methods cost....but more importantly, are the effects perminant?
Answers:
its going to cost me about $200
Lasering is painful if you have sensitive teeth, Bleaching can make your gums recede and cause stomach problems if done too often.
The lasering cost 2k and the bleaching is a lot cheaper.
here the cost is about $200, and no it is not permanent. It lasts depending on what you drink and eat and if you smoke.
You can use the strips they work, but it takes time.
zoom! treatment costs about $500 +, take home trays around $250..... the effects are not lasting...
whatever has stained your teeth before will continue to do so..you must touch up from time to time, regardless of the method you choose
I did the teeth whitening thing a few years ago.
The laser treatment can irritate your teeth if you have sensitive teeth, and I was quoted about £3,000 for it, but it only takes an hour and lasts quiet a while but not permanent.
The tooth trays are really easy to use but took me about 3 weeks. It only cost about £200.
Neither method is permanent, and the time it lasts depend on how well you keep your teeth. For example, if you continue to brush every day twice and cut out funny foods etc, your bleaching will last longer than if you eat a lot of colourful food and drink lots of coffee and rarely brush your teeth.
