Is it true that you can have a cavitity on one side of your mouth and a tooth on the opposite side will be hur?

Yes! I believe it's called transference.
NO. only a tooth in the same quadrant could be hurting ...and the tooth itself is not causing the pain...the teeth in one quadrant like the the upper left...or upper right...lower right...or lower left...since the nerves are shared...
Yes and no. They're two different nerves, but eventually they connect at the trigiminal on the lower jaw. It's possible, but I don't really see that happening.
