How Do You Determine A Root Canal Is Needed.??

Question: Just want to know how you determine a root canal is needed and which tooth it is if it is next to another tooth that needs treatment? Any professionals that can advise?

Thanks
Answers: you can determine if a root canal is needed by going to the dentist
by letting a board certified dentist exam you
Sensitive to hot and cold means root canal--- if you dare test it with ice
if there is horrible pain , blister, swelling on the zone and the xray will definite determine root canal treatment
A Root canal is decided when the tooth is so damaged that the nerve is dying, and the tooth will die with it and fall out. so the dentist removes down to the jawline and refill with a porcelain and temp filling and is usually followed by a crown to keep the tooth protected
WHEN THE DECAY HAS GONE INTO THE NERVE SPACE GENERALLY THERE ARE OTHER THINGS LIKE IRREVERSIBLE PULPITIS BUT YOU WILL KNOW HOT COLD SENSITIVITY THROBBING AND SOMETIMES AN ABCESS THE DENTIST WILL DIAGNOSE IT
tap gently on your tooth, tooth that is sore might be infected...healthy teeth will have no sensation
you should probably see a dentist for a check up
