Can you soak your retainers in Listerine, rather than Efferdent??

Answers: Don't do it! It's poisonous. Listerine is bad for your health, said many doctors in Africa. Just put a little dawn soap on it, the way you wash your dishes. Trust me, I know my stuff. e
i have been soaking my retainers in Listerine for at least 5 years now and I find it just as effective.Actually my orthodontist said that i should soak them in listerine rather than efferdent because listerine kills bacteria at a more faster rate and also the reatiner taste fresher when you re-apply tghem in teh mouth.Go ahead...soak them...they`ll be just fine.Good luck.
