Dental floss quandary??

Question: have you ever been flossing and you got pieces of dental floss stuck between your teeth and you tried to get it out with more dental floss and then more dental floss got stuck between your teeth and then you tried to get that out with more dental floss and then...well, you get the picture. Yeah, that just happened to me. I eventually got it out, but boy did that suck!!!!
Answers: Have your dentist check that spot, you may have a chipped filling or something starting to go wrong with that contact area.
That used to happen to me so I went to the dentist and he used floss that was really a soft sand paper. When he flossed my teeth with it, it widened the space between my teeth just enough to get regular floss in there without it ripping.
Get a waterpic! They do a better job than flossing and you don't have anything to get stuck. It also helps to clean the surface of the teeth and help rid them of stains.

Get a sonic toothbrush too! They're great!
What type of dental floss are you using? May I suggest that you change to a dental tape. Oral B has a good one and then there is the brand GLIDE which is also very good.
When you next see your dentist make sure that you point out the area that you are having trouble with the floss and she/he might be able to check the reason that you are having the trouble. Perhaps you have a filling that is a big too tight and needs easing out?
Whateve the cause, make sure that you have it checked out.
Try a different floss. I suggest Glide floss. It rarely beaks unless there is something wrong between your teeth, like a broken tooth or filling....
