Everyone knows about Dental Implants ???
Question: hi, my friend he's ever had the dental implants last 20 years ago, and now it's time to REIMPLANTS. He needs to know that can he reimplants at the same place?? Because after the original implant falls some bone is also lost in the mouth.
Platini: so he thinks the chance of a reimplant is very less.
IF ANYONE KNOWS PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.. THANK YOU
Answers: As one ages, you will see some bone loss. As long as there is still enough viable bone, the implants should be able to be replaced without too much problem. If not, your friend may need to get a bone graft first and wait several monthes for the graft to take hold. before the new implants can be put in.
Cost will be much higher. 20 yrs ago is a long time. INFLATION!
no.
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement and is used in prosthetic dentistry. There are several types. The most widely accepted and successful is the osseointegrated implant, based on the discovery by Swedish Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark that titanium could be successfully incorporated into bone when osteoblasts grow on and into the rough surface of the implanted titanium.
This forms a structural and functional connection between the living bone and the implant. A variation on the implant procedure is the implant-supported bridge, or implant-supported denture.
