Should i bulk up yet??
Question: I am a guy who is skinny everywhere except my chest, but i am actually underweight. It seems there is no hope for me in losing my belly fat (i have been trying different things for the past 4 years and it is still here, i just lose weight from every other part of my body). I want to become muscular, so should i just give up on trying to lose this fat and bulk up and start lifting? I read somewhere that if you gain muscle, the muscle will actually just push your fat out more and make it more visible. i don't want this to happen, that is why i am asking.
Answers: well its really up to you and it might be a verry good idea but go all natural and dont over do it nooooooooooo steroids

The more muscle you have the more fat you will burn. There ARE ways to work on your belly, but it will take TIME and you just have to face that. By working out and increasing your overall muscle mass you will increase the amount of body fat you burn, so it is not just about losing wieght but gaining muscle.
Here is a couple of great articles about way to boost your at burning from Men's Health...

Men's Health often has some great articles with tips and hints for all sorts of things (I actually consult it for some fitness stuff because I want to pack on some muscle and most of the stuff for females is all about toning...). You can sign up for thier newsletter which has a lot of great info.
Also, have you consulted a personal trainer to discuss your belly issues or a possible training program? A professional might be able to help you in ways that you yourself can not accomplish... besides it is a good way to make sure you are doing things correctly so as not to hurt yourself.
I would say that no matter what lifting is a good idea. I have begun lifting in earnest and boxing everyday and while I am a female and really big/fat I can tell a difference already in how I feel and since my goal is to bulk up and no longer just to lose weight' the pressure is off and i am enjoying my work outs a LOT more.
I would say don't worry about the belly right now and focus on getting a good all-over work out, consult a personal trainer to help you come up with a good fun program that you can stick with (and do at home if possible) and the rest will become a lot easier. Cause like I said earlier the more working muscle (this is the key) the more fat you butn just chillin on the couch.
Either way, good luck my friend!
