there not if your under 18, as working out can put stress on your joints and give you a high risk of arthiritis, or so i was told.

Yes. I'm particularly concerned with my butt and leg muscles so my pair of tight jeans will look good on me (not necessarily the other way around) ;-)
Muscles help burn fat.
Because if you are carrying heavy things, you have muscles and you are strong.
Without muscles, you wouldn't be able to breathe, your heart wouldn't work, your gut would stop working and your bladder wouldn't work either! You wouldn't be able to lift anything, to walk, sit, stand.... what more do you want?

The more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn at rest. Muscle mass burns calories. Muscles also help support your joints. It takes some of the stress off of your joints while you are doing some physical activities since the muscle is doing most of the work. Having a good strong body also helps with your posture.
Muscles are made up of protein wherein it is good in healing wounds faster when you have wounds.
Muscles are ok, as long as they not over cooked, with a little garlic and white wine and finished off with cream and fresh parsley. yum yum feeling hungry now :)
