Does drinking eye drops make you sick? Can it kill you??
Answers: Depending on the type of eyedrop and the ingredients, you could actually land yourself in the ER.
Why drink?
call poison control. i always heard it will give you diarrhea.
No stop worrying. If someone has infected eyes - the bacteria that infect the eye can't survive in your tummy.

Most eyedrops are primarily saline which is salt water. Anything else would probably not even make it through the acid in your stomach. Probably nothing to even be concerned about
I think it can make you sick depending on how much you consume, but i wouldn't listen to me, I saw it on the movie wedding crashers-where the guy got sick after having eye drops poured into his drink. :)
It could make you sick if you drink more than 3 drops. Besides, who would drink it in the first place? And no, it can not kill you. It can certainly make you sick, but it can not kill you.
to be honest it wont hurt u at all!! usually eye drops or contact solution is the same thing as IV's you'd get in the hospital so u might get a stomach ache but you'll be fine dahhling!!
