Anyone know how i can find out if my OB doctor is being sued??
Question: My son was sick after he was born.I think she could have prevented it.She is leaving the medical clinic and noone is saying why.I heard she was bieng sued.Can i find this out?
Answers: You should be able to check the state registry where you live. They have all the information on whether the dr has been sued and what the outcome was, as well as any consequences the dr has had to pay.
You should also know that just because a dr is being sued or has been sued doesn't mean that they have done anything wrong. In today's society people always jump to sue especially drs because they think its a quick way to make some extra $$$. You also need to take into consideration that many times the drs insurance company may make them settle even if there is no wrong doing on their part.
I think there a web page where you can see if they are certified and if they have any legal action pending but I am not sure what it is call a lawyer and ask them they may know. Good luck
