My first and last time on Depo? Anyone else??
Question: This isn't really a question more like me venting about how i feel. But have anyone else experienced this? If so please feel free to let loose. I got my first shot of Depo on June 4th. I see now that was a big mistake. Ever since then, i have been peeing more than usual, frigen tired all the darn time, some days i don't do anything and feel like i can't do anything, extreme depression crying for no reason, breast leaking and tender, nausea like you wouldn't believe, i feel fat and pregnant (even though i'm not), mood swings from everywhere. I haven't gained that much and the best thing is i haven't had a period since. This has been the longest 2 months of my life and i frigen hate it. I'm due for my next shot Aug. 30, i will not be going back to get it. And on top of that my husband is deployed for the 15 months and i'm trying to deal with that also. What a B**** right!!! Anyone else ever felt like this from depo shot? This is my first and last shot EVER!!!!!
Answers: I feel your pain. Been there, done that. Only I stuck by it for a year. Big mistake...On top of what you mentioned, I gained a ton of weight. From this point on it will be good old fashion birth control pills.
my fiorst and last shot made my stomache hurt to th epoint i couldn't walk and every time i would eat i would get sick. so i agree with you f*** that shot.
STAY AWAY FROM THAT SHOT!!!. It almost killed my best friend. She developed a rare side effect and thats a blood clot in her lung. .. Im glad u decided to not get it anymore..
I am on the shot now and have been for the past month. I havent had any of those symptoms. The only problem I have had is a irregular period. I normally have a very light flow that last 5 days max.Well this time around, I had 3 days of spotting and I have been having a sporadic heavy flow for the past 10 days. Thats been my only problem.

i feel your pain...i got the depo shot years ago but it was a huge mistake. my period would not stop. my doctor said just stick with it yeah right! i had a period for a whole year! A WHOLE YEAR! as soon as i stopped taking it , the bleeding stopped. good for you get off that crap!
