Rash ewwwiieee??

Question: im on my period and ive been wearing pads like usual and im getting a rash around my bum and around there and stuff. and its not the pads becus ive worn them for a year and this never happened. how do i make it go away? && whats a matter with me?? help!!
Answers: This happens to me. Don't let the pad get too wet, take it off sooner and see if that works, coz I think that's what causes the rashes. I really doubt it's a problem with you, don't worry.

Edit: Also make sure you put your pad on securely so it's not too much to one side causing friction with your skin.
Go to a female doctor and get it checked out. Or if you're close to your mom mention it to her and she could get you something to make it go away.
Maybe from the pad sitting on your skin and being wet for so long, maybe its getting like this cuz it's really hot outside. Try switching to tampons to see if it will go away, if it doesn't tell your mom.
do u mean on ur legs?like ur inner thighs?

hun its normal every women gets them sooner or later just put cream on them,i find e45 works x
Sounds like either heat rash from sweating or yeast.
its probibly a sweat rash hon if u have something like E45 in the house dab some of that on ur bum and at the edge of ur panties so its a little comfier for u but dont put it near ur private feminine parts lol
doctor
It's very likely the moisture against your skin causing a fungal infection. Try using canesten on it to start with and if there's no improvement, you will have to consult your gp for something more specific. Dont be embarrassed about it - lots of people have similar problems and your doctor will be very sympathetic and understanding. With the correct diagnosis and treatment it will clear quickly.
Obviously I have never had periods, but when babies get nappy rash an old fashioned remedy was to put egg white on the area and it worked a treat. you could also try putting a light smear of vaseline on the area which would seal the area off or perhaps try tampons instead of pads
