How can I increase my growth? Serious answers plz??
Question: I'm 4 11 and I'm going to high school this Sept! My friends and I joke around about me being short (and it's okay) but I really don't like situations such as when I'm playing basketball, I get owned by a taller player, or when I wear skirts, they end up looking like ankle-skirts! (Shortest I wear is knee-length)
Is it true if I have muscle in my legs, I can't grow as much or at all? I do have muscle because I'm athletic, but I heard muscles can stunt your growth. Plz give me advice such as drink milk, and natural stuff, no pills or surgery, so on, thx! :)
Answers: A growth spurt MAY happen for you. Don't give up. It's based on heredity, but SOMETIMES people have one last spurt of growth around junior high to high school time.
Muscle in your legs has nothing to do with height. Dispell that myth completely.
Never stop drinking milk, except on the advice of a doctor. Milk and milk products provide calcium that helps in bone growth. Calcium helps avoid fractures and osteoporosis--a bone-breaking arthritis that occurs in women (although it USUALLY happens later in life, it CAN happen at any age).
There's nothing that you can do and muscle in your legs won't stunt your growth.
Don't worry about it. My Mom topped out at 4' 10 , both of my children are the smallest in their class (my son looks real out of place on his baseball team).
Everybody had muscles in their legs, otherwise they wouldn't be able to walk. Don't listen to any wives tales.
dont worry i am 5'0 and i am a senior in high school
guys seem to like shorter girls better.
plus. you can wear heels.
